NOW FOR THIS WEEK’S TOP 10 MINDPICK’D COMICS!

Coming in at the 10 spot:
Captain America #7: Will Cap buck up from his fear of losing his power from a dissipating Super Human Serum as New Hydra begins their onslaught?

At 9: Batman and Robin #5
Damian has flown the coop with villain Nobody. Bruce Wayne finds the twisted drawings of his son. Are we getting closer to the Damian’s killer instinct to be unleashed on Gotham City?

At 8: New Avengers #20
It’s the fight we’ve been waiting for: New Avengers against the Dark Avengers, ya heard?

At 7: Amazing Spider-Man #677, especially the Bermejo Cover

Black Cat hires Matt “I am Not Daredevil” Murdock as her lawyer, but the true team up is between Spider-Man and Daredevil in Team Up Part One. Part Two coming in the 2011 hit comic of the year ‘Daredevil’.

At 6. Unsure of how I’ll be digging on Wolverine and the X-Men’s new artist Nick Bradshaw. The art looks a little anime, but…again, that could be a good thing now eh? Damn we’ve been spoiled by the art of Bachalo. Try and take Jason Aaron off as writer and….SNIKT!

At 5. Because of the landmark 300th issues…because it’s written by Jason Aaron…because it’s an oversized issue…and because it’s

At 4. A creepy page turner. A true American Horror Story set in the Great Depression Era 1916 written by Scott Tuft and Scott Snyder with art Attila Futaki…Severed #6 (of 7) brings an issue called “Permanent Teeth”. Remember how I told you about the traveling salesmen with shark-like teeth?

At 3. With more Swagger than Solo and Bond combined. He’s the Imperial Agent Jahan Cross who brings such a nice refreshing story from our beloved Star Wars Galaxy in the pages of Dark Horse Comics. Cross is a badass, fully equipped with spy-gadgets.

At 2. I really wanted this to be number one, but wait till you see the top spot this week. Coming in hot at the Deuce: I give you the Old Republic aided by the Jedi against the MANDALORIANS in the first issue of new mini-series by Dark Horse comics (raising the bar in Universe Expansion!)

and this week’s Number 1. The Top Mindpick’d Comic for January 11, 2012…Jason Aaron and Marc Silvestri give us the fight we’ve been waiting for: the Hulk vs. Banner. What?!!!! …and with a Silvestri ‘Venom’ Variant to boot!
