EXCLUSIVE Screenshots from Wizard World Miami Premier of Brimstone & the Borderhounds the Animated Series

Wizard World Comic Con Miami held host to Brimstone and HOUND COMICS‘ WORLD PREMIER of their teaser trailer of upcoming Brimstone & the Borderhounds Animated Series based on same titled successful comic book.

The main idea of the comic is to answer the questions: “What really happens after you die? Where do you go? and Who’s trying to keep you there.” During the Wizard World Miami panel, Mindtrick’dMedia learned that the animated series has 2 pilot episodes for network review. There is a FOR MATURE audience side and there is a watered down version to appeal the younger audience without parental uproar.

We learned more about the meeting of Hound Comics and Floating Pear Productions, the animating team, and how personalities meshed as an “Extended Family”-like team of creative talent galvanized.

After introductions from both William Kucmierowski, better known as his professional wrestler stage name “Brimstone”, and lead writer Marcello Carnevali, a video profile of Hound Comics started it’s profound impact on the audience with it’s sharp editing, and powerful music. Just before the audience could catch their breath, the trailer’s theme music, courtesy of Guns N’ Roses’ very own Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, came in setting a frenetic pace as Brimstone and the Bloodhounds in their animated form began to reveal itself.

The Trailer began with a team reveal, then we move on to a “crazy guy surprise”, to supporting character reveals, to Brimstone about to get his BERZERKER on: my man coils up in a ball as if to get all Force Unleashed on his attackers, as the possessed hero takes over unleashing some serious whip-ass wrestling slam moves (including my favorite Darth Vader choke hold…see below).
